Welcome to Sevierville Parks & Recreation

Established in 1974; the City of Sevierville Department of Parks and Recreation has been the winners of numerous parks and recreation awards from the State of Tennessee. The department manages the Sevierville Community Center, the Sevierville Civic Center, Family Aquatics Center. numerous city parks, public properties, rights of way mediums and streetscapes in downtown Sevierville. The department is also responsible for management and maintenance of the city’s Greenway System, its Urban Forestry/Tree City USA program, Welcome Signs, maintaining the city's Winterfest lighting program and provides mowing and landscaping for most City facilities. The department maintains approximately 175 acres of public property across the entire city. The staff also provides numerous recreation programs for all age’s year around. In 2018; a twelve-year Master Plan was approved; which resulted in the establishment of a Parks and Recreation Foundation with the goal of expanding both facilities and programs moving forward utilizing both private and public funding sources.
