Grab your swimming suits and sunblock and head over to the outdoor Family Aquatic Center at Sevierville City Park! Only a few days are left to beat the heat and enjoy some summer fun at the pool. The last day to visit the Family Aquatic Center this season is Saturday, August 3.
The Family Aquatic Center will be open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. through August 3.
Many FAC employees attend school, and with school beginning next week, the FAC will not be able to remain open after August 3.

What: Sevierville 2024 Fall adult co-ed softball league registration open

The City of Sevierville Department of Parks and Recreation is now accepting registration for the 2024 Fall adult co-ed softball league. Registration materials are available at the Sevierville Community Center front desk or online at seviervilletn.org on the Parks and Recreation athletics page. Teams can register in person or online at https://sevierville.recdesk.com/Community/Home. The registration deadline is August 23.
Registration is available for full teams only. Individuals can be placed on a free agent list for teams that may be looking for players. Co-ed league fees are $250.00 per team.
Play will begin on August 27. Games will be played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Sevierville City Park.

What: Sevierville Bowling Center extended closure planned for new equipment installation

The Bowling Center at the Sevierville Community Center will be closed beginning Sunday, June 23 for new equipment installation. The Bowling Center will reopen in early August, prior to the start of the high school bowling season and fall leagues.
The new equipment, which is Phase II of the overall bowling center improvement project, will replace equipment that is 24-years old. The cost for the Phase II equipment upgrade is $395,100 and the work will be completed by Brunswick. The new equipment consists of ten pinsetters and kickbacks, lane overlays, guttering, pin decks, ball returns and masking units.
Phase I of the project included new restrooms inside the Bowling Center, a party room addition and new flooring.

What: Adult Co-Ed 5-on-5 Basketball League Announced
Where: Sevierville/Pigeon Forge
When: The City of Sevierville and Pigeon Forge Parks and Recreation Departments are partnering to offer a Sevier County adult co-ed 5-on-5 basketball league.
Registration is ongoing until June 27. The league fee is $300.00 per team and each team will have a ten-player roster. Teams may register in person at the Sevierville or Pigeon Forge community centers. You can also register for Sevierville online at https://sevierville.recdesk.com/Community/Home. Registration is limited to eight teams.
The regular season will begin on July 1, followed by a single elimination tournament that will be held at the Pigeon Forge Community Center.
