The Sevierville Police Department is hosting their fifth annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. outdoors at the Sevierville Municipal Complex (120 Gary Wade Boulevard). We will be joined by many of our local and state partners, including the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Sevierville Fire Department, and many more.

The Sevierville Police Department is proud to announce open registration for the annual Citizens Police Academy. The academy provides an opportunity for adult residents to learn about basic police work and to get acquainted with the officers protecting and serving our community. The Sevierville Police Department is partnering with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO) for its “Booze It and Lose It” campaign from August 14 to September 2, surrounding the Labor Day holiday. This initiative coincides with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” mobilization to increase impaired-driving enforcement nationwide.

The Sevierville Golf Club, which opened as Eagle’s Landing Golf Club in 1994, has scheduled a 30-year anniversary celebration event on Thursday, September 12, from 1:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m. The celebration will include a nine-hole golf event, free hot dogs and goodies, live music, and a helicopter ball drop featuring a closest to the hole one-year club membership prize.

The Sevierville Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting a non-sanctioned doubles (men’s, women’s, and mixed divisions) pickleball tournament Friday, October 4-Sunday, October 6, 2024. Daily check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. Registration will be open from August 26-September 18. Registration is open to full teams only. Players must have their own partner and register together, no matching day of tournament.
