Emergency Response Training Exercise Planned in Sevierville

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Lane Closure on Old Knoxville Highway

A traffic advisory is being issued for Old Knoxville Highway from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 25. During this period, Old Knoxville Highway will be reduced to one lane of travel in the area of East Loop Road and West Loop Road.

Two Persons Arrested on Animal Cruelty Charges

Sevierville Police Department officers arrested two persons on animal cruelty charges on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. After receiving a complaint, officers went to the East Casey Drive residence and discovered numerous canines inside a mobile home in abhorrent conditions.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Temporary Closure on Catlett Road

Catlett Road will be closed to all traffic north of Live Oak Lane from 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. The closure is necessary to allow installation of a new water line. No traffic will be permitted through the closure. The attached map shows the closure location and detour routes to allow residents and motorists to navigate around the closure.
