The Department of Code Enforcement is responsible for issuance of all permits for building, signs, special events, as well as enforcement of all city ordinances. The enforcement staff also conducts building inspections and assists with subdivision regulations, zoning, and residential and commercial site plan approval.

Building permits (including temporary tent permits) and sign permits are accepted online at www.mygovernmentonline.org and selecting "Permits and Licensing". New applicants will need to set up a user name and password before getting started on a permit application. If you need help setting up an account, please call 1-866-957-3764.
Those wishing to report a possible code violations can do so by visiting https://www.mygovernmentonline.org/
Complaints can be reported annonomusely or using an existing My Government Online user name and password. To submit a issue, begin by selection "Solution Center" on the main page of the website.

Items to be considered for action by the Sevierville Planning Commission must be submitted online by 5:00 p.m. 28 days prior to the meeting.
