Permit and Plan Review Fees

Fees for building permits:

Total Valuation*	Fee
$2,000 and less	$30.00 base fee
$2,001 - $50,000	$30.00 for the first $2,000 plus $5.00 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof.
$50,001 - $100,000	$270.00 for the first $50,000 plus $4.00 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof.
$100,001 - $500,000	$470.00 for the first $100,000 plus $3.00 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof.
$500,001 and up	$1,670 for the first $500,000 plus $2.00 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof.

* If the values provided to this department for any project, are determined to be unusually low by current standards, the Building Official reserves the right to determine the cost of the project and apply the appropriate permit fees. (Fees for single family dwellings will be calculated based on a minimum of $100.00 per sq ft and garages & unfinished basements are based on $35.00 per sq ft).

Plumbing Permit Fees

Permit Issuance

For Issuing each permit:	$10
For each plumbing fixture or trap or set of fixtures on one trap (including water, drainage piping and backflow protection thereof):	$5
For each building sewer and each trailer sewer:	$5
For each water heater and/or vent:	$5
For installation, alteration or repair of water piping and/or water treating equipment, each:	$5
For repair or alteration of drainage or vent piping, each fixture:	$5
For each backflow device other than atmospheric vacuum breakers:	$5

Mechanical Permit Fees

Fee for inspecting heating, ventilating ductwork, air-conditioning, exhaust, venting, combustion air, pressure vessel, solar, fuel oil and refrigeration systems and appliance installations shall be $20 for the first $1,000, or fraction thereof, of valuation of the installation plus $5 for each additional $1,000 or fraction thereof

Plan Review Fees

When plans must be reviewed by one or more City personnel for any project, a plan review fee will be due, equal to one-half of the permit fee, or $50 whichever is greater. The fee must be paid with the application for permit.

$50.00	Temporary Structures (5,000 sq ft- 9,999 sq ft)

Fees for sign permits:

Signs, with the exception of those listed below, follow the building permit fee schedule.

$50.00	Temporary sign permits for 30 days
$50.00	Auction Signs
$25.00	Reface an existing sign
