Fees for building permits:

$2,001 - $50,000 | $30.00 for the first $2,000 plus $5.00 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof. |
$50,001 - $100,000 |
$270.00 for the first $50,000 |
$100,001 - $500,000 | $470.00 for the first $100,000 plus $3.00 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof. |
$500,001 and up |
$1,670 for the first $500,000 |

* If the values provided to this department for any project, are determined to be unusually low by current standards, the Building Official reserves the right to determine the cost of the project and apply the appropriate permit fees. (Fees for single family dwellings will be calculated based on a minimum of $85.00 per sq ft and garages & unfinished basements are based on $35.00 per sq ft).
Plan Review Fees
When plans must be reviewed by one or more City personnel for any project, a plan review fee will be due, equal to one-half of the permit fee, or $50 whichever is greater. The fee must be paid with the application for permit.
