The Sevierville Department of Parks and Recreation will begin accepting youth baseball and softball registration and entry fees for the 2024 Smoky Mountain Youth Baseball (SMYB) fall season on July 8.

The Sevierville Regional Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals meetings scheduled for Thursday, July 4, 2024 have been rescheduled to Thursday, July 11, 2024. The meetings will be held at 5:00 p.m. at the Sevierville Civic Center. Further information on these meetings can be obtained by calling Sevierville City Hall at 865-453-5504 during regular office hours, Monday through Friday.

With the Fourth of July holiday approaching, the City of Sevierville would like to remind residents and visitors that shooting fireworks without a permit is prohibited within the City limits. This ordinance is in effect throughout the year.
Sevierville Fire Chief Matt Henderson and Police Chief Joe Manning say that while they want residents and visitors to enjoy the holiday, they hope it will be celebrated in a safe manner. They note that fireworks are banned in the City because of the potential dangers of personal injury and fires.

PLEASE NOTE: Portions of this project were delayed due to weather conditions in May.
A traffic advisory that includes street closures is being issued for the following streets in the Hollywood Hills and Little Pigeon River Estates subdivisions between June 25-26, 2024. Contractor Holbrook Asphalt will be performing pavement preservation work that will necessitate complete closure of each affected street for a 12-hour period. Flyers will be distributed to affected residents and businesses prior to the start of work, explaining the preservation process and noting specific street closure schedules.

The Bowling Center at the Sevierville Community Center will be closed beginning Sunday, June 23 for new equipment installation. The Bowling Center will reopen in early August, prior to the start of the high school bowling season and fall leagues.
