Sevierville Bowling Center extended closure planned for new equipment installation

The Bowling Center at the Sevierville Community Center will be closed beginning Sunday, June 23 for new equipment installation. The Bowling Center will reopen in early August, prior to the start of the high school bowling season and fall leagues.
The new equipment, which is Phase II of the overall bowling center improvement project, will replace equipment that is 24-years old. The cost for the Phase II equipment upgrade is $395,100 and the work will be completed by Brunswick. The new equipment consists of ten pinsetters and kickbacks, lane overlays, guttering, pin decks, ball returns and masking units.
Phase I of the project included new restrooms inside the Bowling Center, a party room addition and new flooring.
