We are not able to receive old and unused prescription and over the counter drugs at the Police Department due to the closure of the lobby to the public. When the lobby is reopened, we will be able to utilize our Drug Take Back cabinet again.

The mayors of Sevier County and Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Pittman Center, and Sevierville have declared a State of Local Emergency for Sevier County, Tennessee. This declaration is executed by political subdivisions of government, both City and County, to comply with TEMA’s request to open the Sevier County Emergency Operations Center, to allow cities and the county financial flexibility and the opportunity to qualify for grants and/or loans and to possibly recoup expenditures related to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Sevierville Golf Club will continue to be open for play however, to protect players and club staff during the COVID-19 outbreak, the clubhouse will be closed indefinitely.

This request coincides with Governor Lee’s Executive Order 17, which is in effect through April 6.
