The northbound travel lane on Gary Wade Boulevard between Main Street and Bruce Street will be closed from 4:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3. The southbound travel lane will remain open. A traffic advisory is being issued for the Interstate 40/exit 407 area on September 28 from 4:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m. The advisory includes Interstate 40, Highway 66, East Dumplin Valley Road, Snyder Road and nearby roads. A concert is scheduled at Smokies Stadium which will result in a significant increase in traffic.
The Sevierville Parks and Recreation Department has received a Tennessee Recreation and Parks Association Four Star Award for the new dedicated pickleball courts located at Sevierville City Park.
