Parks and Recreation Hike: Mt. LeConte via Alum Cave Trail

The Sevierville Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled a hike of Mt. LeConte via Alum Cave Trail on Tuesday, October 18. This guided hike is FREE and limited to ten participants. Participants must be at least 18-years old and provide their own transportation to a meeting location. Meeting time and location will be provided after registration.

This STRENUOUS out-and-back hike offers creek views, interesting geology, and vistas. Some sections have steep drop-offs. In addition to packing the “10 Hiking Essentials,” please bring a lunch to eat at the summit. More information about this trail can be found at:

Registration is available online at https://recreation.seviervilletn.org. The registration deadline is October 17 at 9:00 a.m. After registration is full, a waiting list will be started. Liability release and medical forms are available online and must be returned to the Community Center front desk by October 17 at 5:00 p.m.
