Traffic Crash Causes Two Injuries

Sevierville Police Department (SPD) officers and Sevierville Fire Department firefighters responded to a traffic crash on the Parkway at approximately 12:22AM this morning, Friday, December 18, 2015.

According to SPD Officer Shawn Crawford, a 2016 Kia Sorento driven by 43-year old Daniel J. Williams of Pigeon Forge was apparently stopped southbound on the Parkway at the Cate Road traffic light when his vehicle was struck from the rear by a 2004 Honda Accord driven by 24-year old John D. Aagenes of Sevierville.

Williams was transported to LeConte Medical Center by the Sevier County Ambulance Service with what appeared at the scene to be minor injuries. Aagenes was transported by the Sevier County Ambulance Service to the University of Tennessee Medical Center with severe injuries.
