TRAFFIC ADVISORY: special event at Sevierville Convention Center September 26-September 27

A traffic advisory is being issued for the Highway 66 (Winfield Dunn Parkway)/Old Knoxville Highway/Gists Creek Road areas near the Sevierville Convention Center for Friday, September 26-Saturday, September 27.

The Smoky Mountain Truck Fest special event scheduled at the convention center is expected to significantly increase vehicle and pedestrian traffic in the area. Motorists traveling in this area are advised to expect delays, plan for additional travel time, and consider alternate routes. Additional police officers will be present to provide traffic control and emergency services.
