The Sevierville Parks & Recreation Department invites parents and caregivers to attend a FREE parent orientation to swim lessons event on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., at the Sevierville Community Center.
This orientation is open to anyone interested in swim lessons-for children, teens, and adults of all skill levels. Whether you're enrolling a toddler for the first time or you're an adult beginner, this session will help you understand how our swim programs work, what to expect, and how to prepare for success in and around the water.
What you’ll learn:
• Overview of our swim lesson structure by age group and skill level
• Information on the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim curriculum
• Safety protocols and what to bring to lessons
• Tips for encouraging swimmer confidence and consistency.
This is a great opportunity to meet the instructor, tour our aquatic facilities, and get your questions answered before classes begin.
Registration is not required-just come with your questions and enthusiasm for water safety and learning to swim! For more information, contact Avery Wolfe at 865-453-5441 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
