Sevierville Golf Club announces operational changes

Posted 06-17-25.

The Sevierville Golf Club will be introducing several changes to their policies and price structure, beginning July 1, 2025.

In 2024, City leaders set a goal for the Club to become more operationally efficient, while keeping the two courses and associated facilities and services modern, sustainable and enjoyable for all patrons.

“Golf continues to evolve, and across the industry, courses are making thoughtful adjustments to simplify play, improve experiences, and secure the future of their operations,” said Director of Golf Bob Parker. “In that spirit, and with careful consideration, we will be making several operational adjustments.”

• Simplified Rates: The pricing structure will be streamlined to make it easier for everyone to understand and plan their rounds.
• 18-Hole Focus: The 9-hole rate option will be phased-out to align with industry trends and optimize course availability.
• Seasonal Consistency: Off-season rates will be eliminated to simplify year-round play and maintain consistency across the calendar.
• Junior Golf Opportunities: A new junior walk program will be introduced, allowing juniors to walk 9-holes at a special rate, and the partnership with the Smoky Mountain Youth Association will be continued, to grow the game for future generations.
• "Five to Ride" Cart Program: A $5/player cart fee will be implemented. This modest fee will help ensure that the Club can continue providing the newest and best golf carts for the comfort and enjoyment of our patrons.
• Continued support of tournaments, school, special and non-golf events: The Sevierville Golf Club will continue to support fundraising and schools, as well as special golf and non-golf events, that bring both local residents and visitors to the golf club.

These operational changes, along with internal policy adjustments, will help Club staff better serve patrons and sustain the high-quality golfing experience our community expects and deserves. Most importantly, this will allow us to continue investing in the facilities, services, and programs that make the Sevierville Golf Club such a special place to play.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we move forward. Our commitment to providing outstanding golf for our residents and visitors remains stronger than ever, and we look forward to seeing you on the course!
