TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Road maintenance planned in Royal Heights subdivision includes street closures

A traffic advisory that includes street closures is being issued for the following streets in the Royal Heights subdivision between May 29-June 3. Please see the attached maps for specific street closure schedules. This project is very weather dependent; should weather conditions be unfavorable, the project will be rescheduled.

May 29-30, 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.:
•Royal Heights Drive: eastbound lane closed. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers, expect short term delays;
•Overlook Drive closed at intersection with Royal Heights Road going west.

June 2-3, 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.:
•Royal Heights Drive: westbound lane closed. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers, expect short term delays;
•Lisa Drive closed;
•Overlook Drive closed between Royal Heights Drive and Hopson Street;
•Hopson Street closed.

Contractor Holbrook Asphalt will be performing pavement preservation work that will necessitate complete closure of each affected street for a 12-hour period. The contractor has distributed flyers to affected residents, explaining the preservation process and noting specific street closure schedules.
