Sidewalk closures planned on Court Avenue between Joy Street and Cedar Street

To improve pedestrian infrastructure, the Public Works Department has scheduled sidewalk reconstruction in the downtown area on Court Avenue beginning Tuesday, March 25, 2025.

Sidewalks on both sides of Court Avenue between Joy Street and Cedar Street will be closed to pedestrian traffic. Interruptions to access of affected properties, including the gravel parking lot on Court Avenue, will be minimized to the greatest extent possible, however periodic interruptions to pedestrian traffic should be expected for the duration of the project.

Weather and other conditions permitting, the estimated reopening of the sidewalk is Friday, April 11, 2025.
