TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Downtown street closures for special event September 24

A traffic advisory is being issued for portions of Bruce Street and Court Avenue next week. On Tuesday, September 24, from 4:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m., the following streets will be closed to all traffic:

• Court Avenue from just north of Joy Street (near entrance to SCSO parking lot) to Commerce Street;
• West Bruce Street from just east of the Sevier County Courthouse parking lot entrance to Court Avenue;
• Bruce Street from Court Avenue to the Municipal Parking Lot exit.

The street closures are necessary for the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office “Sheriff’s Shindig” special event.
