The Tennessee Department of Transportation and the City of Sevierville will be hosting a public information meeting to seek your input on the SR 416 (Pittman Center Road) Corridor Study. The purpose of the meeting is to present the draft recommendations, which have been based on safety and traffic analysis, feedback from the first public meeting that was held on July 9, 2024, and responses to the online survey.
The public information meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at Walters State Community College (1720 Old Newport Highway, Sevierville, TN 37876). The meeting format will be an open house with a formal presentation starting at 4:45 p.m. The public will have an opportunity to give feedback via mapping exercises after the presentation.
The goal of this project is to address the overall traffic and safety concerns along the 2.3-mile section of SR 416 (Pittman Center Road) between US 411/SR 35 (Dolly Parton Parkway) and Jayell Road.
