Parks and Recreation schedules hike to Brushy Mountain May 8

The Sevierville Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled a hike to Brushy Mountain via the Trillium Gap Trail on Wednesday, May 8 (rain date is May 15). This guided hike is FREE and limited to ten participants. Participants must be at least 18-years old and provide their own transportation to a meeting place to be determined.
This 6.8 mile hike features a waterfall, spring wildflowers, and vistas. It is rated as strenuous, gaining over 1700 feet in elevation over 3.5 miles.
Registration will be available online at from April 30 to May 6, or by calling 865-453-5441. After registration is full, a waiting list will be started. Liability release and medical forms must be completed online when registering.
