TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Sidewalk Improvements Planned on Parkway

A traffic advisory is being issued for sidewalk improvement work on the West Prong Little Pigeon River bridge on the Parkway. Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, November 6. Weather and other conditions permitting, the project is expected to be completed in three weeks. The work will take place from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. daily.

The work will necessitate the temporary closure of the right travel lane on the Parkway, on and near the bridge in both directions. Motorists should watch for the presence of workers and equipment in the area and exercise caution. Short term delays are possible, especially during heavy traffic periods.
