TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Lane Closure on Old Knoxville Highway

A traffic advisory is being issued for Old Knoxville Highway from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 25. During this period, Old Knoxville Highway will be reduced to one lane of travel in the area of East Loop Road and West Loop Road.

The purpose of the closure is to allow workers to make temporary repairs to the road and bank areas. Traffic will be maintained, however motorists should expect delays, especially during heavy traffic periods, and consider an alternate route. Motorists should exercise caution in this area and plan for traffic stoppages and changing traffic patterns. Workers and heavy equipment will be present.
