TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Cate Road Detour

The City of Sevierville is issuing a traffic advisory for Cate Road at the intersection with Smithwood Road. Beginning Monday, December 5, the Street Department will be replacing a large drainage structure that crosses Cate Road, requiring a closure of Cate road to all traffic between 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. daily. Smithwood road at this location will be closed intermittently, with an alternate route advised as well. A suggested detour route is shown on the attached map.

Weather and other conditions permitting, the work will be completed by the end of the day on Friday, December 9.
