Adult Education Drug Abuse Awareness Seminar Scheduled

The Sevierville Police Department in conjunction with My People Senior Activity Center announce a Seminar Program for Parents and Grandparents with children in Junior and Senior High School. The adult education drug abuse awareness seminar will be held at the My People Activity Center located at 1220 West Main Street, Sevierville, TN 37862 on Tuesday, August 23 beginning at 1:00 p.m.

The focus of the program is for parents and grandparents with children or grandchildren in Junior or Senior High School. However, anyone in a relationship with or know an individual using drugs is welcomed to attend. The program will provide information on early signs of drug use, ways to handle individuals using drugs, and various local community resources to assist parents and grandparents to help them deal children experimenting with or using drugs.

This program is free and opened to the public. Seating is limited to 125 individuals.
