The advisory was in effect for all City of Sevierville Water System customers, and Sevier County Water System customers in the following areas: Sims Road, Flat Creek, Allensville, Lane Hollow, Thomas Cross Road, Boyd’s Creek, and Jayell Road. The water treatment plant is operating normally at this time, including the release of safe, properly treated water into the system.

POST-ADVISORY RECOMMENDATIONS

The CDC recommends homeowners and businesses take certain measures after a boil water advisory has been rescinded. Please refer to the documents below for homeowners, businesses, and food service establishments. It is recommended that water lines be flushed to ensure that fresh water with appropriate levels of disinfectant are present, since unused water has been in your water lines for an extended period.
