West Prong Greenway Section Reopens

A small section of the West Prong Greenway that had been recently closed was reopened yesterday, March 22, 2021. The section, located just north of the intersection with the Parkway, had been closed for safety reasons while bank stabilization work was being performed.

The work is now substantially completed and the greenway is safe to use. The West Prong Greenway extends from Chapman Highway to Sevierville City Park along the banks of the West Prong of the Little Pigeon River.
