Sevierville Supports Governor Lee’s Executive Order #27
Posted 04-13-20.
This afternoon, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed Executive Order 27, which extends Executive Orders 17, 21, 22 and 23 requiring all Tennesseans to stay at home unless engaging in essential services or activities, prohibits social gatherings of ten or more persons, and requiring non-essential businesses to remain closed, through April 30, 2020.
“Sevierville fully supports Governor Lee’s extension of the stay at home order and social distancing requirements,” said Sevierville Mayor Robbie Fox. “Sevier County has been very fortunate thus far with relatively few positive COVID-19 cases. We need to continue staying at home unless necessary to be out, and practice social distancing and proper personal hygiene to keep flattening the curve.”
All City of Sevierville indoor government facilities and outdoor parks remain closed indefinitely. Greenways are still open at this time. For important City COVID-19 information, visit www.seviervilletn.org and choose the COVID-19 page.
