City Hall main entrance to close temporarily beginning August 18, building remains open

The main entrance to Sevierville City Hall will be temporarily closed to allow for gutter replacement beginning at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 18. Weather and other conditions permitting, the work will be completed by the end of the day Tuesday, August 19. While work is ongoing, residents and visitors will be directed to enter the building at the rear entrance. All regular City services will remain available during this period.

A traffic advisory is being issued for Love Road repair and repaving work beginning Thursday, August 14.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: TDOT Highway 411 resurfacing project begins August 3

The Tennessee Department of Transportation has scheduled resurfacing on Highway 411 (Newport Highway), between Highway 416 (Pittman Center Road) at the Sevierville City limits and Sims Road in Sevier County, beginning Sunday evening, August 3, 2025. The work will take place between 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday.

Sidewalk replacement planned on Henderson Avenue for ADA compliance beginning July 21

The City of Sevierville Public Works Department will begin a sidewalk replacement project on Henderson Avenue beginning Monday, July 21, as part of the City’s Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan. The project involves removing and replacing the existing sidewalk with a new ADA-compliant sidewalk to improve accessibility and pedestrian safety.
