Tradesworker, Part-time

SALARY: $14.46 an hour
OPENING DATE: 11/02/2017 
CLOSING DATE: Open until position if filled

SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for assigned tasks and equipment.  Primary duties are:
• Assist with the maintenance, installation and/or repair of electrical, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing devices/units.
• Repairs roofs, drywall, doors, flooring and ceilings.
• Operates equipment such as tractors, bucket truck, and power tools to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintains tools and equipment of responsibility, performing preventative maintenance and repairs as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a high school diploma, GED or specialized vocational training and at least three years of related experience.  Must have a valid Tennessee Drivers license.  Applicant should possess the ability to read blueprints and technical manuals to complete repairs and construction.  Requires light to medium work involving standing or walking most of the time, exerting up to 20 pounds of force on a regular basis, and considerable skill, adeptness, and speed in the use of the fingers, hands, or limbs in tasks involving close tolerances.
