The City provides multiple avenues for interaction with City residents and the media, providing information and responding to requests. In addition to the City website, a significant social media presence is maintained via eight Facebook pages and a Twitter page. An app called “My Sevierville ” is available for citizen work requests and a quarterly eNewsletter is distributed electronically.
Earlier this year, we asked residents to participate in our bi-annual Citizen Survey. The results are in and we are pleased to report that most residents responded that they are satisfied or very satisfied with the services they receive. At least 4 in 5 residents rated their quality of life positively and think Sevierville is an excellent or good place to live; and three-quarters of respondents gave positive ratings for their neighborhoods, Sevierville as a place to raise children, and the overall image and appearance of our city.
