City Schedules Blueway Information Meeting

The City of Sevierville Department of Parks and Recreation has scheduled an informational meeting on future development of a blueway system in the City. The meeting will take place from 9:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24 at the Sevierville Civic Center, 130 Gary Wade Boulevard in the Municipal Complex. The public is invited to attend.
The National Park Service-Rivers, Trails and Conservation Assistance Program and the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation-Recreation Educational Services, have partnered to lead a presentation on the process of developing and managing a blueway system. Following the presentation, the agenda includes a question and answer period, blueway facilitation exercise, and tour of potential blueway access areas in the City.
