Sevierville Golf Club Open on Thanksgiving with Public Shotgun Start

The Sevierville Golf Club will be open on Thanksgiving Day this year, and to accommodate as many golfers as possible a public shotgun start will be used.

“This is a ‘Public Shotgun Start,’ not a tournament,” said Golf Club Director Craig Volentine. “We can accommodate 72 golfers using the shotgun start and having everyone tee off at 9:00 a.m.”

Play will begin at 9:00 a.m. on the River Course, allowing golfers to complete 18 holes and still get home in time for Thanksgiving dinner and football on television. Golfers can schedule to play online (www.seviervillegolfclub.com)or by calling the Pro Shop at 865-429-4223.
