TRAFFIC ADVISORY Interstate 40/exit 407 Area Thursday, September 28

A traffic advisory is being issued for the Interstate 40/exit 407 area on September 28 from 4:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m. The advisory includes Interstate 40, Highway 66, East Dumplin Valley Road, Snyder Road and nearby roads. A concert is scheduled at Smokies Stadium which will result in a significant increase in traffic.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY UPDATE #2 : Snyder Road Lane Closures

For the safety of motorists traveling on Snyder Road in the area of Hardin Lane, Public Works employees are utilizing a temporary automated traffic signal device while this project continues. The signal will also be used during the overnight hours. Please see additional project details below.

FREE Child Car Safety Seat Check Scheduled During National Child Passenger Safety Week

As part of National Child Passenger Safety Week (September 17-23), the Sevierville Police Department is conducting a FREE child car safety seat inspection event on Saturday, September 23 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Sevierville Police Department, 300 Gary Wade Boulevard.

National Night Out Comes to Sevierville October 3

The Sevierville Police Department is hosting their fourth annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, October 3 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. outdoors at the Sevierville Municipal Complex (120 Gary Wade Boulevard). Sevierville Police Department Schedules FREE Collision Avoidance Training for Young Drivers 2023

In an effort to improve the driving abilities and overall safety of younger drivers, the Sevierville Police Department (SPD) has scheduled a FREE Collision Avoidance Training (CAT) class on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 7:45 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Students will meet at the Sevierville Police Department and then continue the class at the Sevierville Convention Center.
