TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Temporary closure of several downtown streets for special event on May 26

The City of Sevierville announces the temporary closure of several downtown streets on Sunday, May 26 between 7:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. The closures are necessary to facilitate the Smoky Mountain Thunder Memorial Motorcycle Ride.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Temporary Road Closure for Memorial Day Event

A section of Court Avenue in front of the Sevier County Courthouse will be temporarily closed to all traffic on Monday, May 27 to facilitate a Memorial Day event being conducted by Sevier County government. Court Avenue, between Commerce Street and Bruce Street, will be closed from approximately 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Road maintenance continues in Hollywood Hills and Little Pigeon River Estates with street closures

PLEASE NOTE: This project was scheduled to be completed this week, however, wet weather resulted in work delays.

A traffic advisory that includes street closures is being issued for the following streets in the Hollywood Hills and Little Pigeon River Estates subdivisions between May 17-22, 2024. Please see attached maps of each subdivision for specific street closure schedules.

SPD Increases Seat Belt Enforcement During National “Click it or Ticket” Mobilization

As summer kicks off and families hit the road for vacation, the Sevierville Police Department is partnering with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO) to remind motorists to “Click It or Ticket.” From May 20 through June 2, participating agencies across the state will increase seat belt enforcement as part of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) nationwide mobilization.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Temporary Street Closures for Bloomin’ BBQ Music & Food Festival May 16-19

The annual City of Sevierville Bloomin’ BBQ Music & Food Festival will take place in the downtown area on May 17 and 18. To facilitate the event, several streets must be temporarily closed, and the Sevier County Courthouse will be closed on Friday, May 17.
