Just after 8:00 p.m. yesterday evening, Saturday, July 31, 2021, Sevierville, Tennessee Police Department officers responded to Soaky Mountain Waterpark, 175 Gists Creek Road in Sevierville on a report of shots fired.

Contractors are scheduled to begin resurfacing work on a section of the Parkway and Forks of the River Parkway this Sunday evening, August 1, 2021. The work will be performed in the evening and overnight hours, generally from approximately 8:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. Weather and other conditions permitting, the project will be completed by August 31, 2021.
