Contractors are scheduled to begin curb ramp improvement work on the Parkway between Apple Valley Road and Collier Drive tomorrow, Friday, May 6. Weather and other conditions permitting, the work should be completed in 2-3 weeks.
The work will occur during the daytime hours and traffic will be maintained, however short term delays are possible and motorists should stay alert for right travel lane closures.

The Sevierville Police Department is partnering with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office to promote Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month. Agencies participate by providing information and increasing awareness in their communities about the importance of sharing the road and looking twice for motorcyclists.

On Saturday, April 30 from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., the Sevierville Police Department, along with several other local agencies (see attached flyer), will hold a Drug Take Back event as part of the DEA National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. The SPD event will be at the Police Department, 300 Gary Wade Boulevard (see attached flyer for additional local event locations).
