A traffic advisory is being issued for several downtown streets to accommodate a Relay for Life special event on Saturday, October 5.

A traffic advisory is being issued for portions of Bruce Street and Court Avenue next week. On Tuesday, September 24, from 4:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m., the following streets will be closed to all traffic:

Sevierville Police Department Schedules FREE Collision Avoidance Training for Young Drivers-October 27

In an effort to improve the driving abilities and overall safety of younger drivers, the Sevierville Police Department (SPD) has scheduled a FREE Collision Avoidance Training (CAT) class on Sunday, October 27, from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Students will meet at the Sevierville Police Department and then continue the class at the Sevierville Convention Center.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Bruce Street closure planned September 23-24

The City of Sevierville is issuing a traffic advisory for a planned closure of Bruce Street. On Monday, September 23-Tuesday, September 24, Bruce Street will be closed to all traffic between Creek Avenue and Broady Lane (see map for closure location). The closure will be in place both days from 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Detour signs will be in place to direct motorists around the closure. The closure is necessary to allow contractors to perform a sewer connection.
