The indoor pool at the Sevierville Community Center is scheduled to close from 6:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 6 for maintenance.

The Sevierville Community Center is scheduled for interior painting that will necessitate a brief closure February 9-11, 2024. The gymnasium will close at 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 9, and the entire Community Center will close beginning Saturday, February 10. All areas of the Community Center are scheduled to reopen for regular hours on Monday, February 12.

Crosswalk repairs in downtown Sevierville at the gazebo crosswalk on Bruce Street are ongoing. Due to delays caused by inclement weather, the projected completion date of this project has been extended to 8:00 a.m. Monday, January 29.

The Sevierville Public Works Department will be replacing a drain tile on Old Knoxville Highway that will require a lane closure on Tuesday, January 30.

The Highlands course at the Sevierville Golf Club is scheduled to reopen for play tomorrow, Thursday, January 25. The Highlands course has been closed due to lingering snow and patches of ice. The River course remains closed due to ongoing repairs to Hole #14. The clubhouse and Mulligan’s Restaurant will be open regular hours.

City primary and secondary roads are mostly dry and in good condition. Public Works crews worked throughout the night and early morning treating and scraping, and will continue this morning. The potential for patches of black ice persists. Motorists should remain vigilant and exercise extreme caution. With temperatures around zero this morning, extra preparation and care is advised before traveling.
