We are not able to receive old and unused prescription and over the counter drugs at the Police Department due to the closure of the lobby to the public. When the lobby is reopened, we will be able to utilize our Drug Take Back cabinet again.
The City of Sevierville will keep residents informed of any changes to City services and facility schedules in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Child Car Safety Seat Check event scheduled for this Saturday, March 21 at the Dairy Queen on Dolly Parton Parkway has been cancelled. The Police Department will instead offer individual appointments.
“In an effort to avoid crowds at this time as recommended by the CDC and also to make it more convenient for parents to have their child car safety seats checked, parents can simply call to make an appointment,” said SPD Chief Joseph Manning.

The lane closures on the Parkway in the area of Bruce Street are continuing. Beginning tomorrow, March 10, contractors will shift the lane closures to allow work to progress. The traffic patterns listed in the February 21, 2020 media release will remain in effect, however, motorists should exercise caution and adhere to signage regarding the lane shifts being implemented.
