SPD officers went to a residence on Jasmine Trail at approximately 2:14 p.m. this afternoon, Friday, May 13, 2022 on a welfare check. An adult male living at the residence had failed to show-up for scheduled interviews with law enforcement officers.

On Friday, May 27, officers from the Sevierville Police Department and community members will come together in an informal setting to discuss community issues, build relationships, and drink coffee.

The annual Sevierville Police Department Kids Police Camp has been scheduled for Monday, June 6 - Friday, June 10. Camp will take place daily from 8:00AM - 4:00PM. A mandatory parent/participant orientation will take place at the Sevierville Police Department on Friday June 3, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.

A traffic advisory is being issued for a lane closure on Dolly Parton Parkway on Wednesday, May 11. The right westbound travel lane will be closed between Sevier County High School and Gondolier Italian Restaurant (964 Dolly Parton Parkway), from approximately 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. The closure is necessary to facilitate the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Walk/Run special event.

The annual City of Sevierville Bloomin’ BBQ Music & Food Festival will take place in the downtown area on May 20 and 21. To facilitate the event, several streets must be temporarily closed, and the Sevier County Courthouse will close early on May 20.
