The downtown city gazebo parking lot on Bruce Street will be temporarily closed to all vehicles from Saturday, May 31-Sunday, June 1. Alternative public parking is available on Court Avenue at Main Street and on Court Avenue at Joy Street.

As summer kicks off and families hit the road for vacation, the Sevierville Police Department is partnering with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO) to remind motorists to “Click It or Ticket.” From May 19 through June 1, participating agencies across the state will increase seat belt enforcement as part of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) nationwide mobilization.

On Thursday, May 15, the Sevierville Police Department invites everyone to attend the annual Peace Officers Memorial Day service at 11:00 a.m. The service will take place at the front of the police department, 300 Gary Wade Boulevard. In the event of poor weather, the event will be moved inside the police department.

The annual City of Sevierville Bloomin’ BBQ Music & Food Festival will take place in the downtown area on May 16 and 17. To facilitate the event, several streets must be temporarily closed, and the Sevier County Courthouse will be closed to the public on Friday, May 16.
