Welcome to Sevierville Parks & Recreation
Established in 1974, the City of Sevierville Department of Parks and Recreation has received numerous awards from the State of Tennessee in recognition of its excellence in parks and recreation services. The department is responsible for managing a wide range of facilities, including the Sevierville Community Center, Sevierville Civic Center, and Family Aquatics Center. It also oversees numerous city parks, public properties, rights-of-way medians, and downtown streetscapes.
In addition, the department manages the city's Greenway System, Blueway System, Urban Forestry/Tree City USA program, and Welcome Signs. It also maintains the city's Winterfest lighting displays and provides mowing and landscaping services for most City facilities. In total, the department maintains approximately 175 acres of public property throughout Sevierville.
