TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Lane Closures on Collier Drive for Bridge Repair and Maintenance

The City of Sevierville is issuing a traffic advisory for the section of Collier Drive between Ridge Road and Veterans Boulevard. Repair and maintenance work is scheduled to take place on the bridge spanning Middle Creek beginning Monday, March 6. Weather and other conditions permitting, the work will be completed by the end of the day on Friday, March 10.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Temporary Short-Term Closures of Highway 66 Planned for New Traffic Signal Placement

The City of Sevierville is issuing a traffic advisory for two short-term closures of Highway 66 (Winfield Dunn Parkway) in north Sevierville next week. The closures will occur on Highway 66 at the intersection with the future Gateway Boulevard, which will become the main entrance/exit for “The 407: Gateway to Adventure” development currently under construction.

SPD Officers Receive TN Highway Safety Office Awards

The Tennessee Highway Safety Office presented two Sevierville Police Department officers with awards for their outstanding efforts in 2022, at a meeting in Knoxville on Wednesday, December 14.

SPD K9 Officer Shane Chipley was named the Officer of the Year and Officer Kelly Benight received the Speed Enforcement Award.
