Youth Baseball/Softball Umpires Needed

Do you have a passion for youth baseball and want to make a little extra income this summer? Then consider umpiring in the Youth Baseball/Softball Program at the Sevierville City Park. The season will begin on March 21, 2015 with an opening day tournament; the regular season will start the following week.

Training and equipment will be provided. Umpires will be paid between $20-$35/game (pay rate based upon age group of players). Games are generally played on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights, with some Friday night games (Wednesday nights are reserved for rain make-ups). Umpires are considered Contractual Employees, receive no benefits and will receive an IRS-Form 1099 at the end of Calendar Year 2015. Those interested should come by in person to the Softball/Baseball Office between 10AM-5PM on Mondays or Thursdays. The office is located behind the Tennis Courts and between Fields #1 and #2 at the Sevierville City Park on Park Road.
