TRAFFIC ADVISORY: lane closure on Highway 416/Old Newport Highway

The City of Sevierville is issuing a traffic advisory for a section of Highway 416/Old Newport Highway beginning Thursday, September 19. See attached map for lane closure location.

Contractors will be installing a sewer line that will require a lane closure at the bridge located between Ernest McMahan Road and Jim Hickman Drive (entrance to Walters State Community College). The daily lane closure will be from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Weather and other conditions permitting, the work will be completed by October 10, 2024.
