SPD Arrests Person on Attempted First Degree Murder Warrant

Members of the Sevierville Police Department SWAT, K-9 and Patrol teams arrested Jason Allen Wynn this morning on an outstanding attempted first degree murder warrant from Knox County.

At the request of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 10:45 a.m. this morning, SPD officers went to 1269 Avery Lane, Sevierville, in an attempt to take Mr. Wynn into custody. Information led officers to an apartment where it was believed the subject was staying. Attempts to get him to come out at first were unsuccessful. After approximately one hour on scene, the subject surrendered without further incident.

Mr. Wynn was turned over to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office who is investigating the original case that led to the charge. Please contact KCSO for additional information on the subject and warrant.
