Traffic Control

The Traffic Control Division of the Public Works Department is responsible for all types of traffic control devices used on the streets of Sevierville. This includes signs (manufacturing, installation, and maintenance) and traffic signals. We perform limited signal maintenance and repairs and oversee contractors for major repairs and projects. We also coordinate and inspect the road striping contract and have a plan to re-stripe most streets every other year. We assist with road/lane closures and traffic control for most special events and road construction detours.
