Facilities Maintenance

The Facilities Maintenance Division of the Public Works Department provides maintenance, testing and inspection schedules as required to ensure that the facilities are operating safely and efficiently, to maximize the life of equipment and reduce the risk of failure for all city owned facilities including the Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center facilities. Facilities oversight includes preventive maintenance on all HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems and daily general housekeeping and replacement of consumables. The maintenance personnel repair and/or replace all HVAC, mechanical and electrical items as well as turn-key small building construction. Facilities Maintenance also maintains the HVAC systems at Smokies Stadium and performs small projects and oversees various large projects as required.
