TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Court Avenue Partial Closure Beginning August 10 for Downtown Streetscape Project

As the Downtown Streetscape project moves forward, the City is issuing a traffic advisory for a section of Court Avenue. Court Avenue, between Main Street and Bruce Street will be closed to all traffic beginning Monday, August 10. An estimated reopening date will be determined soon. 2020 Cram a Cruiser Event Scheduled to Help Sevier County Schoolchildren and Teachers

The Sevierville Police Department and Sevier County Sheriff’s Office are partnering again this year to collect school supplies to help Sevier County school children and teachers.

SCSO deputies and SPD officers will be at Wal Mart, 1414 Parkway, from 12 p.m.-4 p.m. on Friday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1.

Parking Lot Resurfacing Scheduled at Northview Optimist Park

The City of Sevierville has scheduled parking lot and driveway resurfacing at Northview Optimist Park on West Dumplin Valley Road beginning tomorrow, Thursday, July 23. Access to park facilities will be maintained however short delays are possible. Weather and other conditions permitting, the work will be completed by the end of the day on Friday, July 24.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Work Planned on North Parkway

A traffic advisory is being issued for a section of North Parkway (Highway 448) beginning at 8:00 p.m. Sunday night, July 12. The Tennessee Department of Transportation has scheduled repair work on the bridge over the Little Pigeon River.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Lane Closure on the Parkway

A lane closure may be necessary during the daytime tomorrow, Wednesday, June 17, on the Parkway near the intersection with Bruce Street. The southbound travel lane may be closed in this area to allow contractor work. Traffic will be maintained, however some short-term delays may occur.
