Sevierville Police Department Records Office Temporary Closures

The City of Sevierville Police Department Records Office will be closed next week to allow for staff training as follows:
• Thursday, June 4-all day;
• Friday, June 5-closed at 1 p.m. for rest of the day.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Repaving on Hollywood Circle

Contractors will be repaving Hollywood circle tomorrow, Friday, May 22, from approximately 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers. Short term delays are expected. Motorists should consider alternate routes.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Repaving Scheduled on Snyder Road

Contractors will be repaving a section of Snyder Road north of Interstate 40 tomorrow, Friday, May 22. The repaving will occur from approximately 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., between East Dumplin Valley Road and Burkhardt Way.

Please exercise caution when traveling in this section and watch for flaggers, workers and slow-moving heavy equipment. Traffic will be maintained but delays are expected, especially during heavy traffic periods. Motorists should consider alternate routes.

The 100 Deadliest Days Are Upon Us 2020

According to AAA, teen-driver involved crashes kill 10 people a day between Memorial Day and Labor Day. AAA says data shows that speed and nighttime driving are significant factors contributing towards the number of crashes, and subsequently fatalities, involving teen drivers during the 100 Deadliest Days.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Parkway Curb and Signal Work Planned

A traffic advisory is being issued for the Parkway between East Main Street and Apple Valley Road from Tuesday, May 26-Friday, May 29.

During this period, the northbound and southbound right travel lanes may be closed from 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. each day to allow curb and signal work. Motorists should exercise caution in this area and be alert for slowed, stopped and merging traffic. Short term delays are possible during heavy traffic periods.
