In recent years, there has been a new concern for the fire service - fire pits. Fire pits are known to be a great source of warmth and ambience. But, with the popularity of fire pits increasing, fire safety has become even more important. There are many things you should consider while setting up and using a fire pit.
Summertime means outdoor grilling time for many Tennessee residents. It is also the peak season for grilling fires. The State Fire Marshal’s Office urges outdoor cooks to keep fire safety in mind as they start up the grill this summer.
There’s nothing like a great day out on the water spending time with family and friends, but Tennesseans need to be aware of the danger of electric shock drowning (ESD) and how it can be avoided.
A permit is required for open burning in accordance with Section 7-102 of the Sevierville Municipal Code. All open burning sites must be inspected prior to burning. Permits are granted with the conditions as listed.
Permits are available Monday through Friday between 8-5.
A permit is required to operate a Short-Term Rental Unit in the City of Sevierville.
