The City of Sevierville Police Department is participating in national “No-Shave November.” Like last year, the program will be extended to include October as well. This marks the sixth year that the SPD has participated in the national program.

A traffic advisory is being issued for a section of Joy Street on Saturday, October 7. Joy Street, from Court Avenue to approximately 109 Joy Street, will be closed to all traffic on October 7 from 4:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m. The closure is for a high school reunion special event.

The northbound travel lane on Gary Wade Boulevard between Main Street and Bruce Street will be closed from 4:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3. The southbound travel lane will remain open. On Thursday, October 5, officers from the Sevierville Police Department and community members will come together in an informal setting to discuss community issues, build relationships, and drink coffee.
All residents are invited to attend. From 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., officers will be at Chick-fil-A, 770 Winfield Dunn Parkway (Highway 66).
